Raneen Rehani

Egg Harbor Township High School - Egg Harbor, New Jersey

The first ever recipient of this award has set a high standard by her demonstrated commitment to voter education including spearheading a voter registration drive and participating in one of the advisory boards for the Educating for American Democracy Roadmap as well as being selected as an Equity in Civics Youth Fellow. In an unprecedented time in American Politics, this student has exhibited great commitment to civic engagement that will help to pave a new way for preserving American Democracy. Raneen was nominated by her AP Gov teacher Michael Martirone.
